We are very fortunate to have Dr. Yuderqui Checo to helm our 149th street location. She studied medicine in the Dominican Republic and worked for 8 years in Santo Domingo at the Centro Comunitario de Jaraboca. After training in pediatrics at the San Juan City Hospital in San Juan, Regional University Ruiz Arnau in Bayamon Puerto Rico and the Pediatrics San Francisco, Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, she came to New York.
For six years, Dr. Checo worked at the same pediatric practice, Pediatrics Specialties of Queens, as Dr. Barbery. She also passed all of her qualifying exams in order to validate her medical license in the U.S. and is currently in the process of becoming Board Certified in Pediatrics.
